Stewards of Children®

Prevention training that helps adults recognize, prevent, and respond to child sexual abuse.

Keeping children safe is a responsibility the adults in their lives share. Stewards of Children® is an evidence-based training that gives staff, volunteers, parents, and community members practical, everyday tools to prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse. Families First Center offers this training in person or online — whether you’re preparing your organization’s team or gathering a group in the community.

.

These visits recognize both realities: that recovery takes work, and children still need connection.

Why This Training Matters

Child sexual abuse is more common than most people realize, and it thrives in silence. When the adults around children know how to spot warning signs, set clear boundaries, and respond calmly and appropriately, children are safer.

Stewards of Children® rests on a simple, steadying truth: keeping children safe is an adult’s job — not a child’s. This training turns that belief into skills your team and community can use right away.

Child safety is an adult’s job.
